Regenerative Endodontics

It is a preferred treatment option in teeth requiring root canal treatment, especially in young patients with ongoing root development. The aim in regenerative treatments is to direct the stem cells from the surrounding tissues at the root tip into the canal to form a tissue similar to the living tissue of the tooth.

In this way, the continuation of root development in young patients is enabled and the pathological condition in the surrounding tissues of the teeth can be controlled and healing can be achieved.

The teeth on which the treatment will be applied are finished at the end of a 2-session process. If the patient has pain-like symptoms in this process, a drug is applied into the root canal of the tooth to eliminate them, followed by the physician for a period of 3 weeks, and the treatment is started at the point where the symptoms are reduced.

As with all dental treatments, regenerative treatments are also performed under local anesthesia. Therefore, it is not a procedure that will disturb the comfort of the patient.

It is a method that is preferred as much as possible in recent years. It is a reliable treatment as the side effects of the routinely used materials and performed with the patient's own cells are eliminated.
